LOS ANGELES, November 18 - Former 2000 US Olympian and current unbeaten junior
bantamweight contender Jose Navarro will look for win number fourteen when he squares off
against Benito Benny Zepeda in an eight rounder to be held at the Crystal Ballroom of the
Quiet Cannon Country Club in Montebello, CA on Friday, November 22.
One of California's favorite sons, Navarro, 13-0 with 5 KOs, has quickly become a fighter
to watch in the competitive junior bantamweight division, and he will be looking to close
out 2002 in style with a win over the tough Zepeda (5-1-2, with 4 KOs).
