KLITSCHKO TO FIGHT McCLINE
It will be announced that WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will fight
Jameel McCline December 7 in Las Vegas, in a bout that will serve as HBO's main event. The
rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Jose Luis Castillo will be the co-feature, in
what shapes up to be one of the network's more exciting fight cards of the year. Kirk
Johnson had been rumored to be the opponent for Klitschko, but negotiations were revived
within the past week between Peter Kohl and the McCline camp, and the deal was finalized
today. More on this as we progress....
