THE ENVIRONMENT

People deserve clean air and clean water, to be sure. But government is a prolific polluter. Less government involvement would probably improve the environment. Like everything else, private control often produces more of a proprietary interest in real success and progress. Toward that end, national parks and other lands should be turned over to private interests who can take care of them better.
