AN OPEN LETTER TO THE VOTERS OF INDIANA
From CHARLES JAY, Personal Choice Party candidate for President

Dear fellow Indianans,

When you go to the polls on November 2nd, I would certainly like for you to write my name in for president of the United States. But if indeed the saying, "All politics is local" strikes a chord, a critical decision involves the race to be governor of the Hoosier State. As an Indiana resident, I am making that decision too.

As I see it, my choices include:

a) Someone who basically intends to maintain the same spending policies that have put Indiana into financial crisis;

b) Someone who is running on fiscal issues, but who was responsible for overseeing a federal budget that increased every year, right along with the budget deficit and the national debt.

c) Someone who would institute considerable budget cuts and reduce taxes, leaving the people of Indiana with more dollars with which to save, invest, and make buying decisions.

Since my own campaign platform is built on massive cuts in taxes and government spending, my choice is going to be easy. Yours should be easy too.

The only man for the job is......

c) KENN GIVIDEN

Kenn Gividen is the only candidate who believes Indianans should not have to pay rent to the government to live on their own property. He's the only candidate who would end property taxes, as part of his comprehensive program to encourage business development, from both the inside and out. He is the only candidate who sees the free market as a way to address rising health care costs. He is the only candidate who is ready, willing, and able to look for private solutions in many areas of involvement which are now the exclusive province of government and its accompanying inefficiency.

And he's the only candidate who's truly looking out for your kids.

You know, with each layer of bureaucracy, the critical decisions with regard to educating children in America are made by people one step further removed from the child, the parent, and the community.

While Indiana's two other gubernatorial candidates were debating over how much control government should have over the lives of children, Kenn Gividen demonstrated he understands that parents need more and more control over education, and government less and less.

Kenn knows that the answers to improving the dynamics of education in America, and in our state, involve more privatization, more competition, more school choice. That's something you won't hear from the other candidates, who would rather use the education system as a political football.

You've got the big, big spender (Joe Kernan) and the "little" big spender (Mitch Daniels), but what the state of Indiana needs is a man who says "NO" to excessive spending. The wave of the future lies in less government intrusion, less government waste, and less taxation as a way of putting more disposable income in the hands of the people who know best what to do with it - the citizens of Indiana - and building the economy as a result. I like to think my candidacy sees that wave coming, and so does Kenn Gividen.

I recognize that there is very little to be gained politically by making this endorsement - after all, his running mate is the mother of one of my presidential opponents - but what's right is right, and for the job of governor of the great state of Indiana, Libertarian Kenn Gividen is the only plausible choice to be made on Election Day.

I hope you'll visit the website (http://www.gividenforgovernor.com), consider him, and make the same choice.

Sincerely,

CHARLES JAY
